01 — Abstract

A practice founded on the discipline of verifiable systems.

Luis Lacerda

The defining enterprises of this decade will be those that reconcile two forces long held apart: the generative reach of artificial intelligence and the exacting discipline of systems that must be right. Luis Lacerda's work is an extended argument for that reconciliation, made not in theory but in operating businesses.

He approaches each venture simultaneously as an engineer and as a marketer. Demand is treated as a system to be designed end to end, from the first moment of inquiry through screening, validation, routing and delivery, and every stage is instrumented so that its performance can be examined rather than assumed.

His technical practice centres on the layer between probabilistic models and consequential operations: governed multi-model gateways, self-auditing pipelines, bounded agent workflows and the relational software that surrounds them. Models may propose; in his systems, it is the system that decides.

Based in Florida, he builds and operates ventures in accident and disability intake, energy and infrastructure, and the AI tooling that connects them.

01.1 — Principles

Principles

  1. P.01

    Governance before generation

Policy is evaluated before any model is addressed; a provider is a configuration detail, never a source of authority.

  2. P.02

    Evidence before completion

Work is not marked finished until it is verified. Confidence is derived from checks rather than asserted by the generator.

  3. P.03

    Measurement before scale

Every channel, every handoff and every conversion is instrumented, so that growth is understood before it is amplified.
